What would you want out of an Oddworld TV series?

If by some chance Oddworld got a TV series, what would you want it to be like?

Meh I'm not sure. I'd like it to focus on the ancient world of Oddworld and so the past of every known race (Mudokons, Glukkons, Steef) or on the main story of the games, so perhaps Abe's origin and his adventure into taking down the Magog.
I'm sure the world of the series is bigger than we think, that means the tales Oddworld can give us can be numerous. So if it gets a tv series it'd even talk about a brand new story, something that might be a spin-off or connected to the canon series.

I want it to be like Westworld.
Not a similar story, obviously, but to have the amazing writing, acting, audio, cinematography, special effects and overall production quality of Westworld.

Also like Avatar but just for the visual effects.

I'd want interesting characters, first and foremost. The Oddworld cast is fun for the length of a game and for the narrative story telling that happens in the Oddworld series. On their own almost each one of them is about as interesting as a sack of hay. And yes, that includes Abe. Placing these characters in a 10 episode TV show would be boring as shit, trust me.

For a TV show or even a movie to work you need characters with personality. Oddworld, for all it's amazing world building, has never had characters with an ounce of personality. The range covers basically 'goofy', 'grumpy' or 'evil'. I'm kinda hoping Soulstorm can throw a wrench in the works in that department.

A story that still fits in the current arc (location&time) but can be enjoyed independently of the games. Think MARVEL Netflix tv series vs MCU

Preferably staring Abe as he's the "face" of Oddworld.

Oddworld but it's just always and only Abe forever and ever.

Not forever, but at least in the first few episodes. :)

A "Planet Earth" style informative documentary series would be cool. Have a narrator go into detail about Oddworld and it's features over 12-ish episodes.

A washed up has-been, Abe, is diagnosed with inoperable, advanced lung cancer. On a ride-along with his DEA agent brother-in-law Alf, Abe sees a former colleague of his, Munch, fleeing the scene of a meth lab. He later contacts Munch and devises a scheme to become partners in an attempt to combine their skills to manufacture and distribute methamphetamine, with Abe cooking the product and Munch using his street connections to distribute it. Abe says he wants to provide financial stability for his pregnant wife, Skillya and disabled son, and to pay for his expensive cancer treatment. During Abe and Munch's first days of selling Mudos' finest meth, they encounter a series of problems with local drug dealers. He continues to produce meth despite these setbacks using the alias "Heizenberg".
