Idea Prison Break

I absolutely love this show. It's awsome. I'm sure most of you heard about it, but for those who havn't. It's about a guy named Micheal Scofield who lets himself get locked up in Fox River State Prison to try and escape together with his brother who is locked up on death row for killing the vice president's brother.
The killing is one big concipicy though, and while Micheal's friends on the outside try to fight the system and the secret service, Micheal and some other inmates keep running into problems while trying to break out.

It's a realy awsome show, and for those who havn't seen it yet I recommend getting the episodes somewhere.
One of the things that makes it so cool is that it's all recorded in a real prison, which gives the entire show a realy authentic feeling.

Anyone else watch this show? What ya think of it?

I've heard great things about the show (and that main character is hot!) but I've avoided it because you know from the start that he's never going to succeed because if he does there'll be no show.

It's just the same as Lost, which I only watched originally because J. Abrams (the creator) promised that all would be explained at the end of the first season. He lied.

I watched a lot of the first season but I kind of lost interest. Haven't watched any of the second season. Too busy watching Thief and The West Wing.

I got realy tired of the huge cliff hanger after each episode, and because I didn't feel like waiting a week after each episode, I just downloaded the entire bunch and had myself a marathon . But now I reached season two and I'm still stuck because the next episode won't be aired till may 1st XD.

there's a season 2? Here we've just got to the part where the escape is ruined by the pipe replacement.

I think it's great, but I missed the first few epeisodes.

Yea well you're in Britain, over here in Holland we're not even there yet. We just had the first episode of the riots last Thursday, where they finaly dug trough the wall to the old sewage pipe.

But yea, there is a season two which is being aired in the USA now every monday. I saw the first two episodes and I'm waiting for the third one to be released :P.

I don't watch 24 and Prison Break for the exact same reason:

They're both very poorly written and predictable shows.

And man oh man, don't even get me started on House.

I actually agree. I just love the nihilist from The Big Lebowski. Once he was gone I completely lost interest.

I don't think Prison Break or 24 (even though I hardly ever watch it) are poorly written. The story behind both shows is good (well, 24 is getting a bit old with so many seasons, but still). And I dunno how the predictability in Prison Break. It has so many twists and turns that you never realy know whats going to happen. The only prediction you can make is that they won't ever break out, because then the show will be over. A show can still be good even if you already know the general ending.

Intelligence is not mutually exclusive with hotness. It's just rare that the two go together (mmm... give it to me Steven Hawkings).

In any case the actor is hot. The intelligent guy who writes his dialogue probably isn't.
