What do you peeps think of Barney the dinosaur who hangs around those with group of kids??? Is Barney the face of a eevilllllll kid's craze or just a dumb dinosaur trying to sing and rap, trying to hard to make it to the big time??

Barney isn't intended for anyone over the age of 3 or 4. While you're at it, why not complain about what a pitiful vehicle the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe is? No motor, no brakes, no trunk, big hole in the floorboards, crap tires, no room for passengers.

Unless you have kids, why do you even care? Just don't watch it. There are a lot worse things in the world to get all worked up about.

Wow, this stuff wasn't even funny when I heard it for the first time in the 5th grade. Come on, people, even if you ignore the fact that this is insanely juvenile, it's dated as all hell. Maybe the next topic will be OJ trial jokes, or perhaps somebody'll do a Blair witch parody. Ooh, original. You're all ingenious pundits, you are.

Isn't there enough negativity in the world without needlessly creating "Let's everybody trash this now" topics? If you were legitimately troubled by Barney-type programming, articulate it -- I'm all for a good discussion about television programming. However, in my opinion there is no more value to this topic than your everyday rancid spam.

The guy in the Barney suit is a young man. Barney's voice is done by someone different -- like a cartoon voiceover.

I've watched Barney the dino, and The Teletubies, and I really found them good shows for kindengarten kids. Children older than that would find it really boring, I reckon.

While on the subject, there is this film: Death to smoochy a pink rhino which seems to be a parody of the Barney dino.
