Well i had that name going through my mind for ages. So i decided to just go ahead and make a site about oddworld. But that was ages ago and my site has advanced. I got the name from these little card thingies called ODDBODD'S. It was quite popular in Australia.

Whistling kettle, erm, yes, erm it means whistling ketle!
It is just like my sig:

My signature was originaly only the sentence: Yellow flub submarine. I made it so that Cool Paramite (we are classmates) would recognice me.

I said to him that my name would be 'fluitketel' in english. (So 'fluitketel'is dutch for whistling kettle)
And whistling ketle is a word I say very often (I say it in dutch: fluitketel!)

Hmm... Well, my favorite oddworld creatures are paramites, so that's where that came from... I like squeaking noises, so I am a paramite that squeaks... Or, squeeks, because of the typo in my name... I really should have went back and looked it over to see if every thing was in order. I like odd noises, you see... and squeaks are usually just that. Sadly, I'm actually a human, but still...

Then Melvin... Melvin is just a weird name. I like it, it has an odd sound to it. It was also an EC comics inside joke... they would use it often... Melvin Coznowski was one of Alfred E. Neuman's original names... Hmm... My real name is Dylan...
