Meh. Austin Powers 3 was total butthole. And I mean that in a bad way.

I watched it on a pirate VCD borrowed from a friend and I still felt that I'd wasted the money I hadn't paid.
Agreed. So horrible. The third one makes me want to cry for Mike Myers.

The second one, on the other hand, has much much better humor, with a few exceptions. A lot funnier.

Yeah, the second was the funniest but the first had a better plot and was a bit subtler as compared to the low-browness of number 2.

Hmmm... I'm not sure if that sentence counts as being part of the English language.

Thats probably why Peter Jackson printed his name all over the trailers with 'his quotes'. Personally, I think every bit of press, either written or verbally presented, has been by his slave midgit, or other slaves (Aka, all of Weta Digital and Weta FX). And what happens when ol' PJ whizzes in the bucket fountain? He brainwashes poor Frodo thinking HE done it. Poor, poor Frodo.
Have you seen Peter Jackson's earlier movies? Braindead (or whatever you guys call it) was just an all our gorefest. Brilliant stuff.

On Austin Powers, for me it is:
Austin Powers: Great
Austin Powers 2: Average
Austin Powers 3: t3h CrApZoRz!!!111

The SpongeBob Squarepants movie has risen to be one of my favourite movies ever. I haven't seen something that funny in a long time. Too bad it had the occasional kiddie joke in there.

Best movie(s) is a toughy. As a whole, the Back to the Future trilogy still kicks some major ass. Additionally, I've always adored Toy Story, the original Star Wars triology, and Alien/Aliens. Ronin had some darn good action. I would hardly consider Napoleon Dynamite for best movie ever, but it served as a good change of pace from the whored out OMG-HE-GOT-KICKED-IN-THE-GROIN style of humor loved by the world.

PS: My brother purchased the Pulp Fiction DVD a while back. And I haven't watched the movie yet. Does that make me a bad person?

Anyways, worst movies are easier to name. Signs left quite possibly the worst aftertaste I can remember. Tacking on a horrible ending to a pretty good film hurts worse than a movie sucking all the way through. Aliens Vs. Predator is terrible, seeing as instead of a potentially kick ass movie, we're stuck with a plot-hole ridden turd. In regards to the worst movie I've ever seen, 8 Crazy Nights takes the cake. Adam Sandler has had his share of ups and downs, but nothing can possibly excuse that giant shit he took on the movie industry. The only movie I've ever considered walking out on.

EDIT- Wait a tick. No crappy movie list is complete without Daredevil. *shudder*

Yes. For shame.

It really is a great movie. Tarintino's best, without a doubt. I mean, if you watch it for one thing, watch it for his excellent use of time in the movie. The "ending" happens about 3/4 of the way through the movie, and the climax is the very last scene. Yah.

God, and the Christopher Walken "gold watch" scene... priceless.

Top 5 movies of the year:
1) Kill Bill Vol. 2
2) Mllion Dollar Baby
3) Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
4) The Aviator
5) Faranheit 911

Some of my favorite movies (not in order):
Pulp Fiction
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Kill Bill (Vol. 1+2)
Lord of the Rings Trilogy (really one very long movie)
Fight Club
Reservoir Dogs

Oh, and Lifetime movies are the worst ever made...

I've never seen Pulp Fiction and don't have any desire to. I have no idea what it's even about, but it seems pretty lame. But then again, that's with me having no idea of what it's about...

I've only seen a few minutes of it. All I saw was a whole lot of cursing and Samuel L. Jackson.

This is bad, you say? Cinematic gold, say I.

Heh. Napoleon Dynamite was hilarious. The major beef I've heard with it is that "there's no point to it". The people who say this don't understand that pure hilarity needn't have a point.

Yes. Tsk, tsk. He should really learn how to cover up the fact that he hasn't directed anything, more sort of 'told' people what to do and then pay for it. I just hate it how people give him so much credit.

This is Pulp Fiction... the best movie of the 90's. If you have no desire to see this, you obviously don't enjoy movies very much. Perhaps your just not a fan of the type of movies Quentin Tarantino makes, I think your really missing out.

Best films ever are hard to choose. I really liked Big Fish, Spirited Away, LXG and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. I don't really have any favorite.
But the worst movie ever created is without doubt Evil Dead. Seriously, she got raped by trees. What do they have to gain from that?

No, not really. It's rather over-rated to tell you the absolute truth, with the exception of the Christopher Walken gold-watch-arse monologue which is probably the greatest performance I've seen in any film ever.

I'm not saying its a bad movie, merely not as good as I was led to beleive.

Another awesome one is GATTACA. Very moving. Excellent style. I watched the entire movie before figuring out that the title is a DNA sequence. It makes sense when you watch the movie. This guy in a near future where people are selected before birth based on genetic predispositions, played by Ethan Hawke, takes the identity of a genetically perfect yet physically crippled man, played by Jude Law, in order to secure himself a position on a mission to Titan, one of the moons of Jupiter, and overcome his physical shortcomings in a world where one's place in society is determined by one's heredity.

Awesome movie.

No it isn't. It's Ethan Hawke's character cutting his nails and hair and exfoliating so that no random peice of DNA can be picked up and used against him.

Hello ppl how are things here!

Anyway, worst movie ever made in my opinion is Sabretooth. Its the first movie that comes to my mind when I think of bad movies so it must be the worst I can remember.
The story is about a sabretooth tiger that is brought back to life by DNA experiments. So I thought: TIGER! FUN!
Unfortunatly, my bad .
Story: Sucks
Acting: Sucks
Deaths: Sucks
Computer Graphics: OH DAMN MY EYE'S!!! There...

Best movie I ever seen, next to my known fandom for The Lion King, is *dum dum* Two Brothers! (I'm going to slap you if you didn't see that coming :P)
Do I need to explain?

Yes.
What's 'Two Brothers'?
Its a movie about two tiger cubs who get seperated from each other and meet each other years later. One cub ended up in a circus and the other at a loving little boy and later in a fighting group.
For everyone's amusement he needs to fight another tiger which then turns out to be his brother.
Its a realy cool movie

I loved Aliens. The first one was good, but the second and fourth ones sucked. I also loved the first predator. Second one sucked, tho.

If you didn't see it coming, I also loved Alien vs. Predator. People say it was too short, others say the acting was bad. Other say the story was bad. But the movie delivered. The movie is called alien vs predator, and thats exactly what you get. Aliens and Predators duking it out. The new predator face (with the ****ed up mouth) really disappointed me, as did there being no size difference between the predator tusks, though. The battle with the Queen at the end was perfect, though.

As for the worst movie.... blegh, too many to list....

Nate, if that's all you got out of GATTACA... damn, dude, you missed every theme that made the movie meaningful. *thinks for a moment, adds:* In my opinion. Because you have your own opinion. And I'm not trying to start any arguments. But seriously. Seriously, guy.

Havoc, we get it. You like tigers.

The Village made perfect sense. But that didn't make it not suck. When I hear the name M. Night Shyamalan and see previews showing tall scary creatures in red robes, I think, "Creepy awesome creepy cool awesome cool movie that I MUST SEE!". And I watched The Village. And it was creepy for a while. And it didn't go anywhere. And you can so see where it's leading you. And you spend the rest of the movie thinking, "Gotta be a twist, gotta be something I'm missing here, no way it's gonna end like this" and it DOES! I wanted to see a creepy, awesome, Shyamalanesque movie. Instead I watched a frigging chick flick. If I ever want to see a chick flick, I'll go see one. But I do NOT go to an M. Night Shyamalan film and expect to see a chick flick. And that's what I saw. In my opinion.

I watched about ten minutes of The Shawshank Redemption. It seemed extremely promising and I wanted to watch it. Then my TV quit on me. Channels 600-622 are very tentative, and they picked this moment to black out. So I still have yet to see it. Sigh.
