That's right. SeaRex is no longer the Himmler to Alcar's Hitler. Instead, that glorious position is being bestowed upon our very own nate_dog_woof!

Please welcome Nate and give him ~~the same respect that you have given me~~ much more respect than you have given me over the years. Heh. Anyway, if you have any questions as to why I'm really doing this stepping down thing, the announcement in GD and OT should answer them.

It is so sad to see a man step down from a great position. But it is a brave and noble thing to say that they could no longer stand in such a position any more. You shall be missed Searez, as Global Moderator.

Congratulations Nate_dog_woof. You have made it to the utilmate level of position as a moderator! One more step and you are Adminstor! Just yesterday we were talking about how many Elum there is in AO, now we are talking about your big position! This must make you feel a little proud you are this accepted in the community. Hope you have a great time as Global Moderator.

Now that Nate is a Global Moderator, he still requires at least one forum to be under his name as a Moderator. He's retained GD, and been given SeaRex's OT. So there are now three people who are moderating GD: Max, Xavier, Nate.

Yeah, I would see myself primarily as a GD mod, seeing as that's where I started off and it's the first place I look at when I visit the forums.

I realise I haven’t said anything on this matter. SeaRex, as far as my experience extends, has been a level headed and reliable member of staff for however long it’s been, introducing good points to moderation discussion, and it’s a shame he had to bring himself to this. Still, it’s perfectly understandable, and quite respectable that he let everyone know, so much thanks and kudos to him.

I think is perfect for the role, for all the reasons I suggested he take care of GD while I was temporarily unavailable (man, does that seem like a mistake now); he’s demonstrated enthusiasm, competence and adabtability that make him the best man to succeed SeaRex.

So everything is super, yay.
